How long will my order take?
Because all of our items are handmade they take a little more time to make, I do aim to get your items made and posted out to you soon as possible.
Our current turn around is around 3-4 Weeks.
Will my items look exactly like the photos shown?
As our items are cut and sewn by hand the pattern placing will be different on each item, this is what makes each piece individually unique - just like your littles!
How do I care for my handmade clothing?
All of our items come with either a care label sewn into the item or with a care card with washing instructions. I also have a washing highlight saved on Instagram with some tips on how to remove stains from handmade clothing!
Please follow these directions to keep your clothing looking their best!
• Wash at 30’c
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Warm iron
• Open the poppers gently
What fabric will my items be made from?
All of the fabrics I use for clothing are OEKO-Tex certified fabrics, the main fabric used is cotton french terry (95% cotton 5% elastane) for clothing.
I do use a mixture of other fabrics alongside this, these include:
Cotton jersey (95%cotton 5%elastane)
Cotton ribbed jersey (95%cotton 5%elastane)
Polar fleece (100% polyester)
Teddy fleece (100% polyester)
Muslin (100% cotton)
Terry Towelling (90% Cotton 10% Polyester)
PUL (100% polyester)
How can I best recycle my packaging?
At Saz & Sew eco friendly packaging is important and all of your orders are posted in fully recyclable packaging.
The paper stickers, tissue paper & cards can go in with your cardboard recycling and our parcel bags are reusable with a second glue line, they are also 100% degradable so you can put it in with your regular rubbish and it will degrade within 2 years!
What is the sizing like?
I am always looking at ways to improve our clothing & have recently altered some of the patterns we use to make them a little longer/bigger.
I would always recommend looking at our size charts before ordering to ensure you get the best size, if you are unsure please pop me a message as I am happy to advise on this.
The beauty of our clothing being handmade means that because no two children are the same size, small adjustments such as an extra inch in the leg length or a longer length body on a t-shirt can be made to accommodate your littles sizing. If this is something that you require please contact me to discuss.
How do you choose the designs?
All of our fabric designs are unisex, we believe that a colour is a colour and anyone can wear that colour! It is important for me to support other small businesses so our designs are purchased from small independent designers.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes we do! Online Gift Cards are available to purchase if you are looking for a special gift but are unsure on what size, style or fabric to buy.
If you already have an item in mind and are opting to send the gift straight to the recipient then you can pop a note in the box in your shopping cart to let us know that the item is a gift.
Items can be boxed up if you wish and we can also write a gift note to go inside.
